He dropped two balls hit right at him, that landed in his glove. Not sure you can put the blame for that on anyone else but him.

I'm shocked they're actually going to pitch to Votto (assuming they do).
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

He must have gotten a crappy jump. He was barely in to 3rd when the throw came in.

Amen. I don't have any problems with any other site, but have issues with RZ every day it seems.

There's a lot to love about this team. All told, they've played a pretty poor game - bad defense, bad baserunning, way too many Ks/poor approach at the plate, poor pitch count efficiency by Latos...
The fact that they're still right in this speaks volumes.

Since there are no teams on the moon, I guess South Korea's far enough from Cincinnati to satisfy me.

It sure would be a great time for Votto to get out of this funk.
This is the ol Left Hander rounding third and heading for home.

I agree. His issue has not been the routes he's taking. He's reading the ball well off the bat and getting to these, which was the primary concern before the season started. Obviously it's a concern that he's dropped two today, but I would think that's more a freak thing than something that I would expect to be a problem going forward

I can't believe we're still very much in this game after all the silly, head-shaking miscues we had! LOL

The problem with putting Heisy in center- what do you do when heisy shows for the umpteenth time that he is not an every day player?
