Nick O'Shea from Dragons to the Bats? Guessing position of need at Louisville, big jump from Dayton to Bats. I know he plays Catcher and 1B.

They do that sometimes because they are really close (distance) and need a guy really quickly.

Thanks for the 411 Cinreds21, I am rooting for O'Shea, knowing he is a former Big Ten first baseman for the Gophers! Hopefully he can take advantage of this opportunity.

So Corky's not eligible to play for 5 days until he clears waivers?

Jamie Walczak has been placed on the Bakersfield roster. He has yet to pitch in 2013. Wes Mugarian is back with Dayton.

Reds assistant director of media relations Jamie Ramsey reports that the team has purchased the contract of 21-year-old outfielder Sebastian Elizalde from the Mexican League. In 147 career games in that league, Elizalde is a .301/.353/.450 hitter. He will report to extended Spring Training

I think Bootsy needs to be writing a Chadwick Tromp Stomp song, or maybe Freakbass or someone. Whatever happened to the Redszoner who was writing those Reds song?
