    Should the Reds target Ryan Braun for a trade?

    Given the news that a suspension is likely to be announced after the break, could this potentially make Braun available? If so, is it worth for the Reds to try to pick up Braun for LF while working on the assumption that the appeals process could probably be worked such that the suspension could be delayed until next season. Braun's contract is very reasonable and goes until 2021 IIRC. Is this the only chance he may be available without stripping the farm bare? If he is available what would you offer given the uncertainties? I would make anyone on the farm available except Stephenson.

    I think we could get him for Heisey and Ondrusek. It would be tough to part with those 2 because of their huge upside but I would do it.

    I donīt like it...
    I think the suspensions are to short and you should punish them more

    I think itīs the wrong message to the players if you sit out half a season and get the next "big" contract

    Won't be the Reds.

    But I did mention a month back I wonder how long he will play nice in Milwaukee given the stench of that franchise with not much hope in sight.

    Hope he delays as long as possible, Brewers are already cooked for 2013. Would love to see their 2014 ruined.

    The Brewers are a mess right now but they do have some very nice pieces. Gomez, Braun, and Segura are guys you can build around. Their pitching is a mess, but with the addition of two solid pitchers they could contend in the Central.
