Tuesday April 9 Minor League Game Updates

Louisville takes the field at 6:35 with Tony Cingrani on the mound.

    Pensacola has the day off.

Bakersfield gets things started at 10:00 with Tanner Robles making his second start of the year.

Dayton begins at 7:05 with Robert Stephenson toeing the rubber.

Could be an interesting night for pitching.

What, you're a big Robles fan?

7K through 3 for Stephenson. Pretty impressive.

Is he considered young for Dayton or about average?

    Young, but not super young.

Did so earlier in the game too. That gun is 2-3 MPH hot. Always has been. But, is Cingrani is hitting 94 or 95, that is better than he was doing last year in the second half.

For those looking for a flaw, Cingrani did throw 102 pitches over just 6.1 innings, which is not very efficient.

There was an error, that extended his pitch count. But, he also picked a guy off that shortened it.

Top of the fourth for Bakersfield and they are well on their way to continuing their oh-for-2013 streak. Down 3-0 and held to one hit the first time through the batting order.

Bats win it 4-0. Cingrani's relief came from Freeman (1.2) and Hensley (1).

Henry Rodriguez was 3-4 with a picked off. Hamilton, 0-3 with a BB, had a picked off (2B) and a CS (3B). Hessman's HR was his fifth.
