So are you some kind of clown or something?
"But I do know Joey's sister indirectly (or foster sister) and I have heard stories of Joey being into shopping, designer wear, fancy coffees, and pedicures."
I like the material, agreed that the one liner thing is hard to pull off because you need a lot of material, but you seem good at it.
My personal take? Lose the ukelele during the monologue. I know it's like a security blanket but you'll be better off in the long run.
You need any one liners you come to me. $5 bucks a joke.
This one is free - my sex life is like Abraham Lincoln.........my last four scores were seven years ago.
"I came here to kick ass and chew bubble gum... and I'm all out of bubble gum."
- - Rowdy Roddy Piper
"It takes a big man to admit when he is wrong. I am not a big man"
- - Fletch
That is a good one.
Thanks for the advice. In my defense the vast majority of the gig was sans instruments.
Amputees are just like everybody else:
They put their pants on one leg...
...and then they're done.
Nice work man. Keep it up and keep us posted.

Quick update of this whole comedy thing. I'm still doing semi regular gigs here in Columbus but have yet to get out of town. I started hosting events too. I just hosted a joke telling competition at the gateway film center and will be emceeing a Woodstock esque festival at the end if April to benefit tree planting efforts in our city's parks. I'm not a millionaire yet, but at least I can say I'm a professional.
Congratulations. I don't know if I could do it. People say I'm funny, but I'm usually just reacting to the situation. So I think I'd be better at improv. I don't think I'm good at setting up my own jokes. Plus I don't enjoy hecklers.
Burn down the disco. Hang the blessed DJ. Because the music that he constantly plays, it says nothing to me about my life.
If anyone's in the Columbus area tomorrow (Wednesday the 16th) I'm doing a show at Shane's on Livingston ave at 8:30 with national act Dan Swartwout and Darrell Dawson among others.
