Same ol' issues with this guy. Throws hard, has no clue where it's going. Meat over the fat part of the plate over and over and over again.

How many chances does he get to fail with the Reds?

In fairness, ill take 5-4 over these first three series. All day.

Reds fans don't think much of Baker, but would he do what Matheney is doing? Adams is easily in the top 3 of Cards hitters, yet this
    was only his 3rd start.

If he was on the Reds he would be 2nd only to Votto. It's pitiful managing by MM that will help the Reds to win the Central....probably by 10 games.

Over? Did you say "over"? NOTHING is over until WE decide it is!

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

Hell no! And it ain't over now.

Where does he play? When holiday or Beltran has the day off Adams will start. That will happen alot. Plus one of the cards three OF will hit the DL at some point

besides Cueto, Frazier, Latos and Choo there hasn't been alot of love to go around. Just been calling it how i see it, without Ludwick and Marshall the cardinals are currently a better team

Can I please have what you're smoking? Where were you going to put Adams? He's blocked by Craig, whose blocked by Holliday and Beltran in the outfield. The Cardinals management signed those players so shouldn't you be focusing your "outrage" over Mozeliak rather than Matheny?

Besides, as much as a fan of Adams as I am, it's still way too early to say what kind of hitter Adams will be on the major league level. We know what kind of hitters Holliday, Beltran, and Craig are.

I like the Cardinals lineup better but I like the Reds starting rotation slightly better and even with Marshall out, your bullpen is still significantly better than the Cards right now.

Yet the Reds are still in first place, have played a more difficult schedule, and STL hasn't had to come to Cincy yet.

Are we sure a Reds game thread is the best place to talk about the greatness of the Cardinals?
