    Izturis thought the ball was a tough play for the shortstop and might even go through. I think he just misjudged the grounder and should have realized it was fairly routine.

    Westbrook is succeeding today so far, getting a lot of grounders.

    Bailey now struggling with his control.

    Cards arent as talented as the Reds but definitely are a more disciplined baseball team

    Man, Homer goes to third instead of starting the double play at second. He needs to reset a little.

    He was off balance after snagging the sharply hit grounder. I think Homer made the correct play.

    Had he turned to throw to second, off balance, he might have launched it into CF. Much easier play at third.

    Jay runs pretty good too - not a guarantee to turn two. Might as well get the lead guy.
