Hensley has faced six batters. Not one has hit the ball yet: 4 K, 2 BB.

Hensley gives up a two-out single and walk, and Kevin Whelan is on to try and get the final out.

Of the four Louisville runs, three were unearned. The fourth run came via two walks and a double. So, not really an offensive explosion.

Whelan walks the bases full. Tying run comes up.

Whelan walks a guy hitting .040. Bases dirtied with Mud Hens. 3-1 on Lennerton. Ruh roh. Whalen pushes across a run by walking both batters he has faced so far. Winning run at the dish. 2-0 on Danny Worth. Eek. Christiani starts throwing in earnest.

If you ever need your dog walked, take it to Whelan.

There are some real dogs of a bullpen over in LOU this year.

Strike out on a foul tip. Louisville wins 4-1. Sheesh.

Whalen helps cough up a 3-run lead on Opening Day and vultures a win. He walks two of the three batters he faces tonight and gets a save. He is living right.

Whalen finally prevails by displaying dog-ged determination.

IHO The Masters, I have to believe that Greg Reynolds is the leader in the clubhouse as far as the MiPOTD goes.

Dayton was postponed. Double header on Saturday.... which really sucks for me since I can't go on Saturday. The two rainouts have gone from me seeing Cisco and Romano this week in person to seeing neither.
