Are IU fans aware of the incident when Knight smacked Joe B. upside the head after a game?

Bobby obviously had his issues, but that's the one act he committed that I truly, personally, have an issue with. Joe B. would have never hurt a fly and Knight was flat out wrong to strike him like that. Joe B's assistant wanted to fight Knight right there.

None of this is against you, AH, just speaking my piece.

Knight actually smacked Hall DURING the game. http://www.shadowlanestudios.com/temp/knight.html

Of course, UK fans could take a lesson from their coach and let bygones be bygones: http://deadspin.com/john-chaney-thre...s-a-1522430439

Nahhhhhh. What's the fun in that?

Wow, you're trying to excuse a coach committing assault completely unprovoked?

    Has Joe B. forgiven?

Like I said, Joe B. is a saint. You really expect UK fans to do the same?

The man was wrong. I don't think you'd find a single IU fan who would disagree.

Hall is a nice guy. No doubt. But a saint? http://www.cnnsi.com/vault/article/m...0116/index.htm

That's why this Kentucky Fan mythos gets old. Further removed from the past, Joe B. becomes a saint and every bad act Bobby Knight ever performed comes up 40 years later from fans who weren't even born when they happened.

Even UofL fans like Hall now. Well, mostly because he's basically in love with Bobby Petrino and because his son-in-law was a very successful offensive line coach at UofL. But still. That's a pretty impressive status for a once-hated UK coach to achieve.

Why would a kid going to UK affect Kennard's decision to go to OSU?

Oh, man, that's sitting right there on a tee. Good thing I kind of like UK and won't swing at it.

Here's something better to use your time than discussing someone like Bob Knight.

I'll be shocked if he ends up playing for Matta. Kentucky and Duke are supposedly the leaders for his services, but stranger things have happened

I really don't think there is a "leader." That's why Kansas is putting up effort to recruit him again.

247 crystal ball has him at 72% Kentucky. The next closest is Duke at 15%.

I definitely think it could work. Matthews is a slasher while Kennard is a three point specialist.
