Terrence Jones arrested for stomping on a homeless man's leg.
My guess is he won't be homeless for very long.
I also saw that Kentucky will not be going to Knoxville this season to play Tennessee. I think UT got tired of UK filling up Bolling Thompson Arean and asked the SEC not to send Kentucky down there for the 2013-14 season.

I'm hearing that your next commit might be a local kid from right here in my neck of the woods. That'd make me at least a semi-UK fan starting in 2015.

Hope so, kid is a stud. Family are all huge UK fans.

Pain heals. Chicks dig scars. Glory... lasts forever.
A lot stronger non-conference schedule than last year.
I'm not a huge fan of eliminating divisions within the SEC. I'd much rather play Vanderbilt and Tennessee twice than LSU, Arkansas, and Mississippi State.
I don't think this team will go undefeated (2-3 losses possible non conference) but I do think they will be a number one seed come March.
Championships for MY teams in my lifetime:
Cincinnati Reds - 75, 76, 90
Chicago Blackhawks - 10, 13, 15
University of Kentucky - 78, 96, 98, 12
Chicago Bulls - 91, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98

The only solid commit so far is Karl Towns. Trey Lyles and James Blackmon Jr. are likely the next two on the list for 2014, but Mudiay was a Kentucky lean who I really thought would be a major piece moving forward. It is still early though.
It should say something when Cal offers Tyler Ulis, a 5'8 PG, which breaks the mold of players he typically recruits.
Mudiay to SMU.
The way this happened kinda reminds me of Will Barton. Barton was Cal's top pick over Doron Lamb but decided to commit to Memphis after a hard sell by Glenn Cyprien (former UK assistant under Gillispie) and offering his brother a scholarship. Same could be said about Mudiay choosing to attend SMU, a much smaller school in a mid-major conference. Only difference is Larry Brown as the head coach.
Ulis
Not a classic Calipari PG, Tyler Ulis is just what Kentucky needs

Whatever you do, do your best to not allow the struggles of life to interfere with the pleasures of living.
Big day for recruiting as Devin Booker and James Blackmon Jr. will announce their college decisions today.
I've heard everything from UK getting both, to getting one, to getting neither, so it will be interesting to see how this plays out. I just wonder if its the uncertainty of this years class as to why UK is missing out on a lot of recruits this year.
Oh yeah, and first preseason game against Transylvania is tomorrow.
