    Great win.

I like rivalries, but I really dislike such strong hatred. Was a good game. Boo a little sure. But calling a team pUKe or claiming Louisville are losers. Yeah, I just don't have that kind of hatred in me some days. Today was a super fun game to be at, but lets ALL have some respect moving forward.

Championships for MY teams in my lifetime:
    Cincinnati Reds - 75, 76, 90
    Chicago Blackhawks - 10, 13, 15
    University of Kentucky - 78, 96, 98, 12
    Chicago Bulls - 91, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98

Couldn't disagree more. The sheer hatred between both schools is what makes this rivarly special. Whether it's Cal vs Pitino, Big Brother vs Little Brother, or not playing each other until the late 1980s. The only other rivalry that comes close IMO to the hatred is the Iron Bowl in football.

Compared to UNC Duke and Ohio State and Michigan in football, I'd rather have a rivarly like the one we do with Louisville.

Alright. I'm apparently one of few who feel this way.

    Enjoy.

I'm with you. I'm glad I moved away, because I'm annoyed with that rivalry. Some of my best friends and favorite family members are UK fans. When I hear people on either side talk about how much they hate the other side's fans I just roll my eyes. I personally hate the idiot fans on both sides who take it WAY too far. Living out of town, I only have to think about UK about a half dozen days a year, and that's nice.

Now I know that's not true, you post in this thread and read it much more often than that.

I ended up getting to go to the game with my dad.

Easily the best atmosphere of any game I've ever attended at Rupp so far, far surpassing vs UL in 2012. The crowd on Saturday KNEW this team would need help getting across the finish line and boy did they provide it.

Thought I was going to lose my voice.

Classy of Pitino to commit his customary avoidance of the post loss press conference and follow it up with dismissing Behanan 2 days after using him a final time to try to win a game.SMH.

Probably the best performance all season. Four of the next five are on the road and will really test the mettle of this year's team.

I really think there will be a game this season where James Young catches fire and challenges Jodie Meeks scoring record.

    Followed up by the worst....

This team played like freshmen tonight, and I'm talking TRUE freshmen.

Either these kids aren't NBA ready, or the one and done is losing its magic.
