    Reyes Injured

Apparently Jose Reyes destroyed his ankle on a poor slide into second.

If the Jays fall off a cliff I'd be happy to take Mr. Bautista off their hands. We have a shiny new opening in left field just waiting for him.

In fact I'd even pick him up in my 2007 Honda Accord from CVG and drive him to GABP for the press conference.

It'd be just like Carl Linder picking up Griffey in his Bentley and driving him to Riverfront.

Only it'd be me, and my Honda Accord.

    Looked ugly.

Too bad. One of the guys I really like to watch play.

It doesn't look as bad as originally reported. MLB is saying its a sprain. Hopefully not a season ending sprain

I'm outraged that MLB hasn't instituted both soft-foam, breakaway bases and a "no sliding" rule. Won't somebody think of the children?!?

Wow, imagine if he had slid head first. He may have had to have his arms amputated.

Yeah, I'm still a little annoyed about the "Ludwick is a dummy for sliding head first" thing, since anything can happen at any time. This proves it.

I wouldn't be suprised to see the 2013 Blue Jays become the 2012 Marlins. Not that they sell everyone off, but that they disappoint after a huge off-season spending spree.

Oof, that looked bad. Hope he bounces back quickly.

Reminded me a little of the Buster Posey ankle injury where it just got caught under his body. He almost could have made it in standing up, which is a real testament to that guy's prowess on the basepaths. Heck of a player.
