Sometimes (okay, most the time) the Dusty bashing on here is out of control. But I do not understand the decision to use Hoover over and over again. Yes, Marshall is on the DL. But when is the last time Parra, Lecure, Broxton or Chapman were used?

I have defended Dusty many times, but this is out of control. I suspect his answer would be "20 games in 20 days" but, C'MON MAN!

Folks may disagree with Dusty's bullpen usage lately. But the offense has been brutal, Arroyo Bailey and Leake all had bad starts.

This losing streak is a team effort.

The Cardinals emphasize contact hitters. They put the ball in play. That is the big difference offensively.

Cards are a better offensive team than the Reds. Period. Over a 162 game season, the Reds pitching and defense should overcome that difference by a lot.
