I spent the evening watching the Mud Hens and Bats. I'd cross Mark Prior off any list for awhile. He was BRUTAL. It was also way too cold to watch AAA baseball.

Our pitchers have given up 3 runs in 7 innings....when we hold the opposition to 3 runs, we should win the game. This is on the offense.

I'd say 95 percent of RZ has had a standing order for Jacobys dismissal for 3 years. Do you have anyone else in mind.

Last year the Reds and Cardinals, like nearly every MLB team, had almost identical stats with RISP as they did overall.

Their success with RISP might be why the Cards are doing better offensively than the Reds so far this year, but it isn't a sign that they are better at it than the Reds. History tells us it will even out over the season.

The Cardinals have better depth..... and have proven they can overcome injuries. The Reds did last year with Votto. However...having someone like Taveras lying ready in wait to help out an already potent OF lineup is pretty impressive. Having Miller as your #4 starter?

It is hard not to be negative right now...even 10 games into the season.

Kevin Mitchell,, hit for power .300 average and hit in the clutch, Dave Parker, hit .300 with power and hit in the clutch.. those 2 names are who i would ask first..
