Simon was the wrong choice there. And his 0-2 pitch to Marte was just a terrible pitch that put the Reds behind.

Pirates get dunks and bleeders and score. Reds hit shots and get zilch.

It's never time to panic 10 games into a season. Ever. If we're as good as we think we are, we can withstand these losses.

Reds are into the Pirate bullpen as well. Still anyone's game.

I guess people have me on ignore around here. That's cool....but again...Simon is the long man. Not LeClure. Not in the 5th inning.

    Re: 4.13.13 Reds v. Pirates

Simon is a mop up pitcher. Should have used Lecure for two innings. Simon gave up a terrible RBI single there on an 0-2 pitch. He threw it right down the middle.

At least take the time and trouble to waste a pitch.

These are the Pirates, play some decent baseball, I'm sick of watching this garbage.

Now Heisey is up, we'll get some big swings, that's for sure.

    Sorry. Continue the thread.

Heisey, Hanigan, Izturis. Their batting averages added together make a .300 hitter!

Chris Heisey just stinks at batting baseballs.

Heisey K's swinging on ball 4 at his eyes. Reds have blown great scoring chances tonight, meanwhile both the Pirates runs have came with two outs.
    I miss Adam Dunn.
