Hoover isnt a rubber arm, why is Dusty trying to make him pitch almost every game?? he isnt a Scott Sullivan type yet

His arm will be fine. This is a confidence move by Dusty.

I really like this move. Hope it works.

Regardless of what his title is, he plays a significant role working with the hitters. Doesn't change the point I'm trying to make.

It's only two batters. Hoover can do it. The key is for him to pitch well and get on track again.

He is the hitting coach for the Dodgers.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Bruce hit 3 homeruns on 5 pitches.. that was his best swing since he got up to the Reds his first week when he used the entire field. not like he trys to Adam Dunn everything to RF as he does now..Plus why doesnt the coaches wpitch everything outside to Bruce in BP to get them to hit it to beat the shift. things like that..
The fact that the Cardinals have a NEW hitting coach has nothing to do with the Cardinals. Mattingly offered Mcguire a job and McGuire took it to be near his kids on the coast.
