Lol Wow chief! yeah he hit a low and away curveball over 430 feet to centerfield in Houston with the roof closed!!!!!!!

    That is power.

How does your argument hold water at all? Shouldn't the reds fans on this board shut you down on this topic or do they'll all have you on "ignore." Because you're making one of the most ridiculous stances on a position in history right now. You think that a man who has shown he has power all through his professional career doesn't really have power because of the ball parks he's played in.

What are you going to argue against next? gravity?

Using your logic jay bruce, joey votto, and todd frazier have extremely overrated power.

Also, way to go on refuting my post by showing a pitcher that has shown his whole career that he has the ability yank home runs down the line. To make it even better, you picked the homerun he hit at the park with the one of the top 2 or 3 hr factors in Miller park. With the roof open none the less! Classic

Wow a fat guy hit a HR on a hanging 82 MPH pitch, I hope he's already got the jump start on his HOF speech. Colby Rasmus hit one 468 feet this year for the MLB long and he has a .738 career OPS.

Pete Kozma has a 440 foot HR and the only two times he's reached double figure HR is in the Texas League and PCL.

Colby Rasmus has proven he has MLB power. Not mlb defense or On base ability, but he has shown he can hit homeruns.

Kozma has shown he has power in the MLB as well. Also, the roof was open in Arizona on top of the fact that air is really thin and that Phoenix has 2nd highest elevation of any MLB park. Pick a homerun that doesn't have stadium and location factor that favors my argument please. At least that way you won't look like a complete fool

LOL its always something with Cardinals fans, no matter what example you give it is never good enough and what ever they want to hype is the only thing that matters. Fans of other teams who actively post on rival team's boards are unbelievably lame and are one who act like fools.

Rasmus hits a HR once every 25.5 AB and Kozma is at 44.7 in the MLB what type of power do you actually expect from Adams?

I was willing to let this thread fall off the wall but you and mike wouldn't stop beating a dead a horse. But seeing as how you resorted to personal attacks I assume I won the argument.

Best case scenario for Adams would be Ryan Howard type production. Worst case I would say is probably something like Matt Stairs (the Matt Stairs of 2004 on). He will probably fall in the middle. Maybe something like Adam LaRoche with a little better average. He won't play as good a defense as LaRoche though.

This thread is not of RedsZone caliber; it's nothing more than glorified smack talk and bickering without any redeeming qualities. This site isn't a place for that sort of thing, so if that's what you're interested in, please go elsewhere.
