Atta boy Votto. To bad your manager gave up on the game in the 8th inning.

That's what happens when you aren't worried about pitching to Votto.

I'm not trying to say Dusty has handled the bullpen perfectly. I remember a game earlier this week where I thought Broxton should have been used. Not really sure there was a situation this week I would have used Chapman. Hoover probably has been a little over used.

But Dusty is dealing with a short handed pen. No Marshall, and evidently no LeCure right now. Whoever Dusty has brought in hasn't done well. At the end of the day, pitchers need to get people out, and nobody is doing it right now. Blaming Dusty for that just doesn't make sense to me.

Good lord. I went to do my daughter's taxes and it was 6-4. And I come back to this.

    Ugh.

This team will be fine. A week ago they were on top of the world, a week from today they might be right back up there.

If we had a cleanup hitter pitchers feared Joey would see a lot better pitches

Interesting that the name Bryan Price has yet to be mentioned here today.
