Nice footwork, Votto. And pretty good pick by Cozart, too.
Rounding third and heading for home...

Reds don't deserve to win this game, honestly. Total miss-use of talent and execution from Walt Jocketty to Dusty Baker to Logan Ondrussek, to Manny Parra to Jonathon Broxton to Ryan Hanigan to Shin Shoo-Choo.
This is the ol Left Hander rounding third and heading for home.

With all the Dusty bashing on this thread today, I think it's fair commentary that perhaps Brox and Chappy should have had an outing this week to keep them sharp.

It's really a shame to have them be so rusty coming into this situation.

It's not the player's fault that they haven't pitched in a week...
    Is it "next season" yet?

    This really sucks.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

I'm far from a Dusty-basher. But can't you see that he's overused Hoover and under-utilized Broxton/Chapman? He seems to want to pigeon-hole those 2 into 8th & 9th innings with leads only. That's a bad idea IMO. Relievers need regular work regardless of WHO they are.

Yep and Yep. Plenty of blame to go around. Players and coaches/mgr.

What's the deal Votto catching the ball behind firstbase instead of stretching out to get it? Second time I've seen him do that. Both were outs, but don't understand why he's doing it that way.
"Man, the pitch looks fast, even in slow motion." Thom Brennaman on Chapman's fastball.

Biggest problem is what this is doing to my fantasy team.

What were Ondrusek and Parra's excuses? Everybody in the bullpen is getting wacked around right now. That's not Dusty's fault.

It's a long, long season. I keep telling myself that with how frustrating this season has been so far.

I think I'm just ready for a manager with vision and some idea on how to manage a damn baseball game. He's a complete mess out there. How anyone can defend today or his misuse of the bullpen so far is beyond me.
This is the time. The real Reds organization is back.
