Yes that was a very impressive infield single. I thought for a second it was leaving the yard. - texasdave 10/13/12

I can't believe there are people on this forum who don't understand that pitchers need work to stay sharp. Is this CubsZone???

Probably. A reliever going 7 days without pitching is about like a starter skipping 2 or 3 starts.

I don't care that it's just 12 games into the season, but this is Not a playoff team as it is now. If changes are not contemplated and/or made by upper management, including manager, coach, and player changes, this team is going nowhere, except maybe a .500 record if we are lucky. I will continue to stand behind the Reds because they are my team, but I do not have the optimism that some of you have.

Of course there is a huge difference, but these aren't high schoold kids. I'll not buy the excuse of one-week off. We've determined everyone here thinks one week is too long, what's ideal? What is too frequent? These are just excuses.

No, he should've brought him (and Chapman) in a few days ago instead of giving Hoover another shot to get out of his funk. The result is trying to help the kid out was he hurt the remainder of the pen.

Broxton is just having a bad day. It happens.

Watching people blame Dusty for literally everything that happens gets tiresome. If the Reds don't win, it's always Dusty's fault.
    I blame Bob Boone

We were up 5-0 when the 7th inning started.

Walt and co. had their chance to part ways with Dusty after Game 5 and really missed it. I'm not saying every single thing is his fault but his in game management leaves a lot to be desired. And this is a very talented roster.
