How good would Upton look in LF and batting fourth? Instead we pinned all our hopes on Ludwick repeating last season.

Guess I'll go watch the Masters.

    It's about
    the ball,
    the bat,
    the mitt,
    the bases,
    and the fans

Not productive. We can and will win with what we've got.

I don't know... Phillips isn't chopped liver and just off the top of my head it seems there have been several times that they walked Joey to get to Phillips and Brandon made them pay.

But still, I suppose you're right. Although Brandon, and even Ludwick, are solid players, pitchers don't fear them.

What would it have taken to land Upton? Frazier, Cingrani and what else? Would not have solved everything.

Even though he's a heck of a guy, I blame Sean Casey. Clearly the Mayor is a jinx.

I suspect we will relinquish the #1 spot in the next rankings.
