The start is being delayed in Mobile. The Wahoos will be sending Ryan Dennick to the mound should the game eventually get underway.

Dayton scored their lone tally without the benefit of a hit. Gelalich was hit by a pitch, moved to second on an errant pickoff attempt, scooted to third on a ground and scored on a fielding error. Dayton has two hits in the contest, a double by Robert Ramirez and a single by Jeff Gelalich.

Tanner Robles surrenders seven runs in the top of the third. The seven runs came on a homer, two doubles, four walks and a hits batsmen. Carlos Gonzalez has pitched a scoreless inning and a third in relief of Robles. Bakersfield got one back in the bottom of the fourth. Walks to Duran and Waldrop and a double by Juan Silverio, his second extra-base hit on the day. Blaze trail 7-2 after four.

Dayton squeezed out another run without getting a hit in the fifth. Back-to-back errors on the third basemen put the Dragons into business. Two ground ball outs got the run home. Great Lakes has made five errors and still has a mercy rule-sized lead.

Jose Arrendondo gets into hot water in the 8th. A walk and a single put two runners on with nobody out. A line drive double play and a strikeout put out the mess. Arrendondo with 4 Ks in two frames.

Pensacola jumps out to a 1-0 lead after four. Bryson Smith tripled and scored on a Derrick Lutz single. Ryans Dennick and LaMarre have also singled.

Dennick has pitched well through the front four innings, giving up no runs on one hit. He has walked one and fanned three.

David Vidal homered for Pensacola in the fifth as they lead 2-zip.

Louisville holds on to win a 2-1 slugfest. Kevin Whalen pitched a perfect ninth to preserve the victory, striking out one. Billy Hamilton went 0-4, now hitting .256. Josh Fellhauer has one hit on the year and now resides halfway to the interstate.

Bakersfield needs seven to tie, eight to win in the bottom of the ninth. Juan Silverio making a case for MiPOTD, going three for three with two RBI. He has the first three legs of the cycle. He would be up second in the ninth. So there is a chance.

Update: Silverio missed out on the cycle but kept his day perfect by drawing a walk.

FYI to edit the title, hit the "go advanced" option and you should be able to get to the edit title option from there. Obviously it is too late to do it now.
