"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Votto must have been fooled. Pitch looked hittable, unusual that he K'd on that.

I may be mistaken, but it was since 2000. Leyland didn't manage a team from 2000-2005. But he does have something like 1600 wins
There are only two seasons - Winter and Baseball.

Reds seem to be in one of those stretches. When they get good pitching they don't hit. When they hit, the pitchers blow up.

    Frustrating.

Yeah, I missed the "since 2000" part.

Kendrick looks like he's throwing harder. Like he's his own reliever.

i was shocked Votto missed (fouled off) those pitches he normally drives to left-left center field.

Frustrating...but a really well pitched ballgame on both sides of the ball tonight. Classic pitchers duel.

The difference...Kendrick over 90 pitches. Homer under 70.
