Shades if April 2012. Pitcher pitching his heart out and hitters asleep. One swing wins this either way. Hope it's our way.

    1-2-3 go the Reds.

Yes it's "just" Kyle Kendrick...but he's pitching a whale of a game. It's not a poor hitting performance by the Reds....just outstanding pitching. He may be done though. 106 pitches.

Whoever loses this game is going to be kicking themselves.

Kyle Kendrick had a 2.87 ERA in the second half last season after he started using his change up a lot more often. It changed everything he was doing. More strikeouts, fewer walks and more groundballs.

The Phillies pitching is legit, especially if Halladay gets his act together.

Next time tell me when a career #5 pitcher suddenly and quietly decides to become good so I don't look silly.

    Bastardo warming up.

    Homer fools Young

Look at that - good hitters get fooled by pitchers sometimes!

    Make the call!

Homer gets out of this inning unscathed... do you pinch hit for him?

    I say no.
