Sort of. More like it's one of those rare nights for the pitching. Fantastic on both sides. Bastardo was pretty darn nasty too.

If they postpone this one, since its past 5 innings do they have to pick it up where it leaves off?
Yes that was a very impressive infield single. I thought for a second it was leaving the yard. - texasdave 10/13/12

If it rains does this become a suspended game. I am not sure the rules on a tie like this.

Probably end in regulation. One or the other will score in the 9th. I'm hoping us.

Chapman pitches in the 9th, dude.

Chapman since he's warm already. Let him go 2 if needed. Heck, I'd have no problem with 3 innings.

I agree with Chapman here. Reds have Cozart, Votto, and Phillips up this inning. Go for the win in 9 innings.

Creates a problem for the tenth, true, but I'm managing to win it in nine.

Considering it's not murderers row coming up for the Phillies in the 9th, would you save Chappy for the meat of the order?

Homer has gone out to the mound to start 20 innings. He has given up runs in just two of them.

Good question. I'm guessing they wait and see if they can get a break in the rain even if it goes past midnight. But that doesn't answer your question. Just saw some lightening.

He's less than a month removed from spring training where he was pitching multiple innings. He could handle 2 or more here IMO.
