Well, that's the inning, but three more? Excellent!

Votto isn't quite Votto yet, Bruce is homerless, Cueto is on the shelf, the pen has struggled... and yet after tonight we'll be over .500. I'll take that.

They'd certainly steal enough signs to infuriate the entire league.
Rounding third and heading for home...

Ya never hear complaints about the Reds swinging at the first pitch when they are winning... Why is that?

If Votto is in a slump, it's the best slump in the history of baseball.

Guy isn't hitting up to normal standards but has a .500+ OBP.

Hope he starts to hit soon.

At this point the Reds might need to worry about beating potential rain rather than the Phillies.

What inning do we have to get to before its official?

The rest of the league doesn't.

"Duhhhsty" should be a bannable word. Can we please keep that kind of nonsense off of here? RZ is a better board than that.

    Middle of the fifth.

Granted they still have the lead.

By leaving the lefty in to pitch to BP, the Phils conceeded this one.

Ummm ... we've worked the Phillies for almost a hundred pitches through three innings. Not a lot of early swinging that I've seen.

There is a time to swing early in the count, and there's a time not to. With a lead like this, why not?

Man, is there a better hitting coach in baseball than Brooke Jacoby?
