Brox could use the inning, but I think the CG shutout would be more important for Leake. I think it would really help hi psyche, especially against this team in this ballpark. I remember a year or two ago when he was on the verge of a shutout against the Giants and Sandoval spoiled it with a 2 out homer in the 9th. He was really disappointed. I let him finish it off tonight, it seems like it'd be important to him and may do a great deal for his confidence.

Just think, if Hanigan were catching, he'd have an el perfecto going.

His four-seamer is tailing in toward righties and away from lefties...does anyone know if that's normal for him? I remember his hammer having a lot of horizontal action when he was first breaking in, but I don't recall his four-seamer tailing like that.

    Ugh, Leake. Get it together.

Here's the big question though....if you do decide to pull Leake...do you pinch hit for him? I sure don't...EVER.

2 more innings for a ZERO walk series for Reds pitchers.

Can anybody recall the Reds ever doing that before? Seriously...I'm wracking my brains, I can't.

He would have needed a double, too. He has the triple and two singles.

Freeman has the part of the beard Leake is missing. They should work together on that.
