Would definitely like to see a little bit more offspeed. Good to see his confidence in his fastball, though.
This will not change until the Reds win the World Series.......

Good start, got in trouble, but got out of it.
    Is it "next season" yet?

Good job getting out of that inning unscathed. He should start mixing it up a bit more as he gets more comfortable I'd imagine.
I see great things in baseball. It's our game.

like a lot of pitchers, likes to use mostly fastball first time through the order. think of bailey the other night, he didn't break out the curve ball until the 4th or 5th inning.

Both the hits off Cingrani were soft ones. Not a bad first inning for the kid. And Cozart makes everything in the field look so easy.

Both pitchers topping out at 95 MPH early (although I expect a tick or two better from Fernandez at some point).

Cozart can flat pick it, my friends.

Fox Sports Ohio is currently showing me John McEnroe playing tennis, instead of the Reds game. Why???

97 mph running fastball on the black... OK, I'm sold.

Because there's a damn Blue Jackets game on later tonight. Guessing you are in Central Ohio too? There is an overflow channel somewhere, you just have to find it. For WOW cable in Columbus, it's Ch. 105 (instead of 220).
