Surprising amount of hand-wringing in this thread over Cingrani's night. OBM mentioned it, and worth re-stating....he was working 3 days rest. 45 pitches on Sunday, and followed it up with 8 Ks in 5 innings tonight. Solid. Not at all surprised his command might have been off a bit given jitters and short rest, much more surprised that he still came up with that kind of line.

Pretty huge positive step for this team in the short term as near as I can tell.

I said that last night and all I got was grief for piling on Baker.

Nice to see Lecure throw well after some missed time. Also good to see Hoover have an effective inning.

If Marshall comes back tomorrow, who goes down?

I don't see the Reds burning 4 relievers in a blowout.

Hoover two innings? Ondrusek or Parra two innings?
