Cardinals still struggling with closer...trying Mujica tonight. Runners on 2nd and 3rd, one out, up one. Phils knocking on the door.

Not at all surprised his command might have been off a bit given jitters and short rest, much more surprised that he still came up with that kind of line.

Pretty huge positive step for this team in the short term as near as I can tell.
Meh. I don't think it's hand ringing. I think everyone is happy with what he did.

But he did get behind in the count alot most of the time, but worked his way out of it. I guess that's a good thing. But usually getting behind in the count regularly leads to problems. And it jacked up his pitch count.

    Good outing.

Phillies, second and third, 1 out in bottom of the 9th, down 4-3 to the Cards.

WTF ever, 1st and 3rd with no outs in the 9th down one for the Phillies and they don't score. Had the fast Revere at 3rd Cards bring infield in and its hit to Kozma who drops it and he recovers to get the guy at first but run doesn't score, J-Roll K's and Galvis grounds out.

I've been surprised at how bad Stanton has played the outfield tonight. Is he always that bad?
