If Leake got consistent at bats I think he would be a better batter than either. Leake could have probably been a very good position player.
I see great things in baseball. It's our game.

which is why Mesoraco should be getting majority starts now, he's twice as talented as has been with the team 2 seasons now, it's his time and not black hole hanigans time

Chapman pitching the 9th. Valaika grounds out to Frazier.

Hanny isn't a black hole. He's in a slump as a hitter. He's still light years better than Mesoraco defensively. And despite what many think, that IS the main job of the catcher...not his bat.

Ridiculous. Where did that 2-1 pitch miss? Oh, it didn't. Gone. 2-1 Marlins.

Gone. 2-1. Clearly not a major league hitter.

Choo has been rung up on that same pitch twice today.
    Is it "next season" yet?

Such BS. Ump misses the strike 2 call ... forces Chapman to throw it right down the middle on 3-1 ... HR.

    BS.

I'm tired of these garbage umpires stealing paychecks from MLB. That 2-1 pitch changed the whole atbat. That was clearly strike 2. What a joke.

Yeesh, a flat 94 mph butterball from Chapman right down broadway goes bye-bye.

Should have been 2-2 on Ruggiano, then Chapman would have thrown a different pitch.

That 2-1 pitch...I agree it was a strike...but not "clearly" a strike. At the bottom of the zone, borderline...but not clear-cut.

Chapman's velocity seems way down tonight. 93-95
