    You can tell Votto is getting frustrated with not getting anything to hit. He's swinging more at pitches that are balls right now.

    To be fair, he hasn't exactly gotten alot of pitches to swing at this year. I know there's times when my golf swing gets all screwed up and it just feels awkward no matter what I do. Could be a similar thing. Mental and then pressing.

    I don't recall Jay taking so many ABs deep into the count consistently the way he has the past couple weeks -- and they've usually resulted in a positive result.
