Corcino isn't pitching so well so far. Cingrani is basically the rotation depth. Deal Leake and they have none. I'd rather have Leake than any run of the mill LF that they could get for him. I don't think they could acquire anyone who would be that much of an upgrade and if Leake is dealt and another starter goes down, it's black hole time for the rotation.
Leake isn't a world beater, and I have real questions as to whether he'll be worth the deal his second year of arb will command, but right now the Reds need him. He may not be a Cy Young candidate, but he provides competitive innings and the Reds have a decent chance to win when its his turn in the rotation. Not sure that would be the case of those starts end up going to Armando Gallarragga or Pedro Villareal.
