Again if uncomfortable and unsure at the plate is a 500 obp I hope all the Reds hitters look like that. They will win a lot of games.

Rumors of Votto's demise have been greatly exaggerated.

This seems pretty good. Though, his OB% is less than 100 points higher than his BA. He needs to walk more!

I think we need to revisit the Votto for Erik Bedard trade

I noticed he slid feet first into home when he scored on the wild pitch today, something it seemed like he avoided whenever possible after suffering his injury like that last year. Seems like a great sign to me.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

"I just decided not to make outs anymore." -Joey Votto

    I really like Joey.
"I tried to play golf, but I found out I wasn't very good." -Joey Votto on his offseason hobby search

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

Re: Anyone else becoming concerned with Votto

Even an unhealthy Votto is an OBP and singles machine, as last year proved. A healthy Votto is a pitcher's nightmare.

When the season started, they were just walking him, but began testing the waters a little to see if he was still the same hitter. He faltered a little. It appears he's back.
