Shallow fly out to Stanton from Cozart. 1 down. Choo holds at 2nd.

Should we start a thread to guess how long Choo's on base streak will go, or are people here to superstitious?

Since there are no teams on the moon, I guess South Korea's far enough from Cincinnati to satisfy me.

Jim Kelch does not know what irony is.

Bad at bat for Cozart there. Now Votto flies out to left. Shooting for the single to left, but popped it up a bit.

    Now Phillips.

I'm still down on Hanigan offensively, but if he's hurt, it explains a log.

Choo on second, one out. Votto up.
Yeah, I remember that one too. Foul ball off his hand. If he's been struggling with it that long I'm surprised it's taken this long. Personally, I bet it's an excuse to sit him and start Mesoraco without Hanny losing face. Just a guess.

Good looking swings from Votto. Normal looking at least. Fly out to left. 2 down.

Is it my imagination, or does BPhil seem more selective at the plate this year, much like Bruce?

Hanigan is batting .079. I don't think Dusty needs an excuse to sit him.

Phillips walks. Now that Votto's making outs, they won't pitch to Phillips, LOL.

    C'mon Bruce.

It's ironic that literally everyone misuses the words "ironic" and "literally."

In some article, Dusty said that he wants the guys to be more patient at the plate. Maybe we're seeing that with Phillips and Bruce.

    2-1 count on Bruce.

    Now full count.

Thought he was gonna ring him up on that 2-2.
    Ugh, ugly swing in 3-2

Could be a long day for Jay if he keeps getting that pitch. Right on the black and tailing away. Tempting and nearly unhittable. Good pitch

Dobbs singles. Lefty hits Arroyo well.

Funny that Reds now have three top lefty hitters, Choo, Votto, Bruce. Yet Reds are feasting on lefty pitching with league leading .877 OPS. Small sample.

    Ruggiano Ks. One out.
