Anyone remember two years ago when Arroyo was the worst pitcher in baseball? I don't.

I see great things in baseball. It's our game.

His name is Joe, and HE IS CANADIAN!
IF single...at least it should be.
It's hard to argue that Votto's injury is huring him this year. His two homers have been shots, he pulled them both. Last year, after the injury, he didn't do that.
Hit for Phillips.
Okay, time for Jay to get off the schnied.
Gift strike for LeBlanc
I'm 31 and it's hard to compare them to the best staffs I've seen for a few reasons. The 95 staff was awesome with Smiley and Schourek, but they only had Portugal, Burba, and Wells for just over two months.
The 99 staff was great, especially after adding Guzman, but that was contingent on Villone and Parris putting up numbers they'd never come close to approaching again.
The 90 staff was likely a little better, but Armstrong did kind of fall apart in the second half, and while they generally got good production from the fifth spot, they didn't have a regular SP in that role.
This one definitely has the potential to be the best I've seen.
(Referring to Jack Hannahan signing with a Korean team)
Since there are no teams on the moon, I guess South Korea's far enough from Cincinnati to satisfy me.

Full count to Bruce. LeBlanc at 55 pitches.
Bruce with pop up, one out for Frazier.
We just need Bruce to find some power now. He's looked very good in his plate approach, but I'd still like to see some power.

If the bullpen pitches up to its potential, this could be the best overall Reds staff I've seen and I'm a lot older than 31.
Of course, the Nasty Boys were fabulous, but with these starters, Marshall, Chapman, Brox, Lecure, etc., it's really a good pitching staff. Healthy, that is.
1-2 on Frazier with Phillips on first and one out. Reds up by one.
Frazier fans.
Two outs. 60 pitches for LeBlanc.
Oh man....straighten THAT baby out.
Heisey 0-2. Second strike was a foul home run.
1-0 Reds headed for the fourth inning.
