I never knew that awful sound clip was Gary Glitter. I agree, it's crap.

Also, the "Cincinnati, Ohio" song needs to be retired to whatever dusty record bin it was taken from.

Very easily, it turns out. But I'm lazy.

They're making up for it now. Four Glitter appearances so far in the bottom of the seventh.

Some venues stopped playing that song after Glitters arrest, what's funny is that by playing it consistently now seems to belie that the news of his arrest should reach the Queen City by 2018

If people don't like Gary Glitter's past, don't look at Chuck Berry's, Jerry Lee Lewis', or Johnny Cash's either.

Making popular music doesn't equate to great character. Just enjoy the music for what it is.

Glitter's creep factor goes far beyond the others. We're talking about a guy who moved to Cambodia to pursue little girls, and was even kicked out there. We're talking about a serial predator. I won't apologize for being disgusted.

That's a huge part of the problem. Nobody is enjoying that miserable GG clip. It's just horrid.

Thing is, even if you want to look past his transgressions, the song still sucks.

So what? Some things are worth crusading for.

Is it wrong to be a little uncomfortable about the fact that the Reds are playing a song ad nauseam by a guy that's been found guilty of flat out horrific crimes as recently as 2006?

Is it wrong that the Reds play a 41 year old song for entertainment is a valid question as well
