He's topping out around 92 today. He's been throwing it outside the zone mostly...either to set people up or sometimes to get someone chasing up high.

    KKKKKKKK

And on that one. Best 2 fastballs of the day in that AB. Heck of a bounce back inning there David. 94 on that one too.

Questioning it seemed to make it happen.

    Let's try another one:

Has Jay Bruce hit a home run this year?

Homer is getting mentally tougher, nice to see some maturity.

I was not too worried when they did not score too much the last 2 games....but this getting sad. Not facing great starters here at all.

He just punched out Ruggiano with his best fastball of the day...94mph at the knees on the outside corner.

Finally an easy inning for Homer. Hopefully he's got one more in him.

I'm just impressed as hell that on a day where he's clearly not at his best, Homer still has 8 strikeouts thru 5 innings.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Broken bat soft liner to 2nd. 1-2-3 goes the heart of the order. Yuck.

Following this on MLB gameday. For anybody watching the game, what's the deal with the weak outs in the past few innings? Does Sanabia just have the Reds that off-balance?
