One win isn't a big deal. Staying up until midnight when you thought it was a sure loss, to see an impossable win is a hell of a treat.

Xavier Paul hasn't fallen apart quite yet. Big hit on 0-2 to start the rally after team didn't get a hit for several innings.

What a great win for the Reds. The guys stepped up when needed. I like the fight in this team.

Sorry, that's mentally impossible to do.

IIRC, you indicated that you hoped the Cubs would score so you could go to bed.....

    Surprised you stayed up.

I don't post much anymore, especially in game threads, but I haven't missed an inning here this season, except for the time I was on assignment in the bowels of Tennessee and Virginia). Few things are certain (so far): the Reds have great pitching and they fight to the end plus, a lot of great pitching has held us back and a lot of bad pitching has made us flourish. Just glad we are doing what we should--winning the games we should. I'm out for now.

I was hoping to hear "Go Cubs Go" after the game. I think it's a legal thing, even when the Cubs win on the road it has to be played.

    It's a catchy song.

Deep down I think there is a little bit of a Cub fan in everyone.
