    OMG, it's one game!!!!!!

Small sample sizes are to be completely ignored in baseball.

Like Dusty said yesterday, to the disdain of some, OBP is great. Really important.

But usually it takes a few hits to score runs.

5 hits in 11 innings against the Cubs staff isn't good.

Hopefully Reds offense still has a chance to come alive and win this game.

The only team easier to hold to 2 runs is the Marlins. Even the Astro's have been better.

Do you mean where it pauses for a second, then is fine, then pauses again? Been happening on my TWC only on FSOhio for a couple weeks. Does it during CBJ games too.

Well, so much for a rested bullpen. Too many games like this so far. Score 10 and then score 2. Hope we can hold them and score.

We haven't had a hit since the 7th. When these guys go cold, the go frigid.

I hope Hoover has a good inning.

We know what his record will be if he loses this game.

Think about that. Leading the league in runs, and 2nd worst team in terms of being held to 2 or fewer runs. It's virtually impossible to do.
Yet they have. So its not.

Cubs don't like walks, I guess. They keep swinging at ball four.

I'd let him hit next inning. Couldn't do worse.

I doubt Hoover will go beyond this inning. I think Mr. Simon will get the car keys if this goes another inning.
