Dayton announcer just threw out these tidbits. Reds' pitchers have struck out 10 or more batters in five straight games. First time this has happened since 1900 per the broadcaster.
Choo has been hit 10 times. Last person to do that was Craig Biggio in 1997. Reds' season record is 24 by Jason LaRue.
Choo has been on in 14 of his last 18 plate appearances.

I see that Maker is up to his ol' Sundeck tricks again. He is good for 1 or 2 of these a month...LOL!!!
To be fair to Maker....he's not even close to the only person who threw in the towel after the 2 run HR by the Cubs. He's just the easiest target. Probably unfairly. It's like the guy is walking around with a target on his back. Lots of people make comments like his and they don't get pounced on like he has been lately. JMO.
"No matter how good you are, you're going to lose one-third of your games. No matter how bad you are you're going to win one-third of your games. It's the other third that makes the difference." ~Tommy Lasorda
I'm not as familiar with him as you guys are, but my point was that he's not the only one making himself a target. Yet people are still pinpointing that target and ONLY that target. If somebody posts something they need to get called on...so be it. But spread the wealth. :O)
Right now, it just seems like piling on is all.
