That K was on the home plate ump. Strike 1&2 were ridiculous.
Yes that was a very impressive infield single. I thought for a second it was leaving the yard. - texasdave 10/13/12

i still wish Heisey would have either swung at that 1st pitch fastball in the ninth or Dusty had pinch hit Paul for him..

So then why is Chapman warming up in the 8th inning? For giggles?

Seems to me like Dusty was fully willingly to pitch Chapman in the 9th should the Reds have the lead or tie it up in the bottom of the 8th. He should have kept that plan for the 10th. Who gives a [darn] if Parra had already pitched one inning, it's Parra. He's going to give up on average a run every inning. You can't keep rolling the dice on him inning after inning in a close game when you've already shown that you're willing to put Chapman in.

Parra sucks and having 6 hits against this atrocity of a baseball team just won't work. Have to win these games against the scrubs to offset the tough ones against the elite. Bah.

Game over. Reds will fall to second place with the Pirates only a game behind.

I won't blame that one on Joey. Ump doesn't know the strike zone. He called it wrong all game. And it came to a head when he backed Joey into a corner with 2 bad strike calls.

Ridiculous when the umps don't give you a chance by calling it correct.
