It seems like our offense is terrible until the Reds starting pitcher exits the game, then we turn it on after that. Just once I'd like to see us blow someone out early and cruise from there. A walk-off win is exciting, but it makes for some tense viewing along the way.

Reds really needed to win it in the ninth. They have Parra and not much else for extra innings.

So, Parra stays out there. Reds used a lot of relievers last night, I guess the idea is to let Manny throw some innings. He's not doing badly tonight.

Still this is kind of a tie game in the tenth inning. Whatever.

Clearly there was a massive conspiracy and then a coverup of the truth. Thank goodness for the internet and technology that lets us know what really happened.

I knew we shouldn't have traded Janish and let Valdez walk or retire or whatever he did. We could bring either of them in here.

    Handy Manny still in.

It seems to me some people are forgetting that hitting a baseball isn't very easy. Not a lot of teams can do it night in and night out with a lot of success, even against so-called "bad" teams. Even bad pitching staffs are still Major League pitchers who play this game for a reason... because they're better at their craft than 99.99% of baseball players out there.

    Go Reds.
I think, simply put, even with Choo, Reds are a bit susceptible to RH starters. Last year there were very similar stretches. Choo's addition has certainly allowed the Reds to scrape a few extra runs at key times when rest of bats have gone silent.

Reds will over a long sample have ups and downs against righties, and murder lefties, which is going to make the Reds offense appear inconsistent, and have a generally disappointing run distribution. Thankfully with Choo that should improve some this year.

You have no faith in Heisey; I have no faith in Parra.

I miss Arredondo and his first 15 pitches.

there's nothing like bowling a 300 game! 13 now and retired.
