I wouldn't be opposed to a rainout, although it looks like they are going to play it. I'm going to the games Friday and Saturday in DC. I would get see Arroyo pitch instead of Leake if a rainout occured. Much rather see Arroyo. I have seen Arroyo pitch twice in DC over the years and have yet to see him give up a run.

    Now pushing back 1:15 estimate.

Pen is rested, shouldn't be a problem?

Love having satellite radio so I can listen to Reds broadcasts while in my car, all the way out in Montana. IIRC, Dusty mentioned wanting a 2-day break for the pen.

If they did call it they could schedule it as a day/night doubleheader on May 25. That's Memorial Day weekend and there should be huge crowds for those games. Calling the game now would also give the bullpen - and everybody else - a rest and get the team on their way to D.C. sooner. Otherwise they might have to wait into the late evening/early morning to get to D.C.
I'm going to wait another 3-4 hours to give my answer to this post.

I'm getting neither MLB Network game on DirecTV, just staring at a blackout message.

I think it will only be available in the DC and St. Louis markets. The Nats/Cards games is their main game this afternoon.

I'm really hoping for a rainout. Don't want any part of the Reds offense against The Shark.

I'm at Buffalo Wild Wings and they said they were going to call in and set the sprinklers off to soak the field so the game won't be played.
