    and yes - I hate the Cardinals (Reds fan since 1958)

    Agreed. He doesn't need to top 100 to be effective. He has to throw strikes and mix in his slider to be effective. Oddly enough, that formula will work as a starter as well.

    Had it all the way. That's two 1-0 wins on the homestand. And Latos gets no support again, but comes away with the win.

    Broxton got the biggest outs of the day though. I guess that bad outing was a fluke


    And while I really wanted to see Chapman as a starter this year, a game like this makes me glad we had him to come out and finish it off.

    Reds went 5-2 on the homestand, but that won't be good enough for some.
