I guess that's what it takes to make sure Choo doesn't get on base. The suspect high strike three.

It could be worse. Stubbs in the box and Cozart on deck is a pitcher's erotica.

Cozart not = good #2 hitter
Yes that was a very impressive infield single. I thought for a second it was leaving the yard. - texasdave 10/13/12

Two very questionable calls that inning. At least Latos is dealing.

Wow. Samardjiza gets a couple gifts there (although both K pitches were close).

Between those and the outs on the basepaths in the 1st, Ol' Bloody Finger should have like 80 pitches.

blergh. Samardzija is good, but after you get the first two on, the next 3 guys K? C'mon Reds.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."
