Seems like we've given Cubs pitchers tons of free outs this series, between double plays, CS's, and sacrifices
You know, if this was the NBA they'd take Smxyzptlk out of the game until he could get the bleeding stopped. MLB should step in and force the Cubs to make a change in pitchers. Better safe than sorry.
Why on Earth are you trying to hit and run on a pitcher with legit swing and miss stuff? Of all the guys to try and hit and run on, it probably isn't the best to try it on guys who make guys swing and miss an awful lot.
Could the blood on the ball be considered tampering with the baseball?

Just started listening to the game. What's this about blood on the ball?
The cubs pitcher is bleeding underneath his fingernail. Blood is getting on the baseball. Could that be considered tampering with the baseball by putting a foreign substance on it? It seems just like a Spitball etc.
Bruce to left for a base hit
