OK, for those who like the 2-2-1-1-1 format, would you like to see the World Series change to that format?
Not really. 2-2-1-1-1 works in basketball and hockey because there are natural days off between games that can be used for travel. Baseball's an everyday sport. Having a couple of days off for travel during the Series is okay, but having an off day after every game starting after game four? Doesn't work for me.

That was definitely an offensive foul on Leonard. He looked like that scene from Fletch.

The old man, Tim Duncan, with 25 in the first half. Wow.

This is incredible. Tony Parker taking over late.

This game has made up for the snoozers.

If the Spurs win this and anyone wins the MVP other than Tony Parker something is really wrong.

I like things a bit physical, but I hate to see the refs swallow their whistles that deep with the game on the line.

That was a classic game. I hope the finale delivers another one!

I was going to comment on how I thought the refs did a good job. With the exception of the Manu drive with seconds remaining I thought they did a great job of letting the players decide who wins. When LeBron was pretty much driving forcefully to the lane you have to allow the other team to have the similar level of contact.

The one thing that shocked me was when Spoelstra went back to Wade late in the 4th and it almost cost the Heat. They Heat were on an amazing run playing with 2 shooters on the wings and having LeBron drive. The Spurs weren't able to help off one of the shooter and LeBron was having a field day. The second Wade went in the Spurs D was allowed to sag and help on LeBron. In reality if it weren't for two long rebounds, one ball that clanked off the glass, the Spurs win. Its one of those things where a poor shot results in an awkward rebound that often benefits the offense.

Thats where I thought Pop's overmanagement hurt him. Duncan should have been out there. I know you want to match shooter with a quicker guy but you need someone to rebound in that situation and there's no contest between Duncan and Bosh... Duncan wins 9 times out of 10.

After seeing Miller play shoeless and Lebron play headbandless, Birdman has decided to remove all his tats for the next game

If Allen's three rims out, how much hell is James taking today? Two turnovers and two missed threes (to go along with a made one) in the final minute. Would have been brutal for him.

Only people like Skip Bayless would have made it brutal for him. People with common sense realize Lebron was the sole reason the Heat even had a chance at the end. He carried them back from a double-digit 4th Quarter deficit, he hit a huge three with 30 seconds left that gave the Heat a chance for the game-tying shot, and then he hit the game-winning basket with 1:30 left in OT. He played 50 minutes in the most pressurized game of his career, so I think some turnovers and missed shots are excusable. Someone would have to be crazy to criticize Lebron after last night's performance, regardless whether they won or lost.

Dreadful way to lose for the Spurs, just awful. A blowout would have been better than that.

The contrast between local sports radio and the national shows this morning is really something. So that was actually considered a good game by people who aren't fans of either team? I thought the ending was sloppy on both sides. I think Ray Allen is about to displace Derek Fisher as the most-hated Spurs opponent.

Last team to win Finals Game 7 on the road was the Washington Bullets in 1978. 35 years is a long enough wait for that to happen again.

LeBron was unstoppable for the vast majority of the 4th quarter. But when Wade came into the game late LeBron changed his play and damn near threw the game away. Within the Heat's last couple of possessions he had a number of bad shots and questionable decisions. I was watching the game wondering what happened to LeBron in the last 3 minutes of the game.
