Paul has well over a .800 OPS since joining the Reds, had excellent minor league numbers over a large sample. His lifetime numbers mean nothing to me, they are the result of only 400 PAs in which he didn't do well in his first major league go around. I think highly of him.

In having perspective, it makes sense to realize that some players require more major league experience than others. Writing someone off because of 400 early PAs IMO reflects a lack of perspective.

I keep going back and forth between watching the game...and watching some paint dry on a wall of mine. The paint drying is actually more interesting. The color of the paint coat actually changes as it dries!

    1-2-3 5th inning for Bailey.

    1-0 Nationals after 5.

Another one pitch out. Incredible. 51 pitches in 5.1 IP. This game may be over.
    I miss Adam Dunn.

Reds again go down 1-2-3 without even making solid contact.

I actually love pitching duels. Just wish the Reds were winning this one.

Once again the umps screw the Reds. Span was caught stealing by six inches.

Worst part, the ump was in perfect position. Just a terrible call.

I'm confused if it's a pitching duel or if the Reds just continue to suck at the plate right not.
