    4/27/13 Reds v. Nationals

    Reds:

    Choo 8
    Cozart 6
    Votto 3
    Phillips 4
    Bruce 9
    Heisey 7
    Hannahan 5
    Mesoraco 2
    Leake RHP

    Nationals:

    Span 8
    Espinosa 4
    Harper 7
    Werth 9
    LaRoche 3
    Desmond 6
    Rendon 5
    Suzuki 2
    Haren 1

The Reds are going to get more than 1 hit today, I can feel it. 2, maybe 3? Heck, maybe even 4 big hits!

Has Choo or Votto had a day off yet? Both could probably use one. Votto to screw on his head right and Choo to put some ice on all his bruises.
    2014 predictions:
99-63 WS champs (Cards take 2nd WC, Mil 3rd, Pit 4th, Chi 5th)
Bruce/Votto neck and neck MVP race (neither takes it)
    Bailey CYA winner
    Hamilton ROY & GG

This is just too easy and it's beating a long since dead horse, but I can't control myself! What in the world is Heisey doing in the 6? The guy has only 3 more hits than Mesoraco in double the at bats. Oh, and this is above and beyond the obvious question of what is Heisey doing in the line-up. Is there shame in starting Paul two games in a row?

Come on, Baker. Put a line-up out there that gives your team the best chance to win, particularly since you're standing at 1-7 on the road.

Has Mesoraco batted anywhere other than 8th this year?

Warmest, sunniest day of the year yet here in DC. This is a day for us. That's no empty assertion:

I say 6 minimum. It's going to be a good day.

Have to agree wholeheartedly with you, RedsBrick. But no negativity for me right now. Off to the park. We will win.

    - Rendon will be strong in the future. In today for the Nats in place of Lombo likely hurts the still shaky O

    - Haren. Enough said. If we can't smack him around, we don't deserve to be playing until we reset in some way.

    - Only prescription aside from the above? Hold Harper. Don't let him beat us. Walk him as needed.

That is all. Win, baby, win...

I can dig it! I'm ok now, just had to vent for a bit. Enjoy the day and bring us home a dub!

Tomorrow vs. Detwiler would be a good time to rest Choo. Can't wait to see the Sunday special in store for us!

Choo had a day off against the Phillies 10 days ago.

Reds go down 1-2-3 on 10 pitches. Picking right up where they left off last night.
    I miss Adam Dunn.
